Dr. Radhika AG

Dr A.G. Radhika is a senior consultant Obstetrician & Gynecologist at the University College of Medical Sciences & Guru Teg Bahadur hospital since the past 25 years. Other than under and postgraduate teaching, she is actively involved in clinical research. Her areas of special interests include iron deficiency anemia, female genital TB and health effects of Smokeless Tobacco Products. She has been trained to conduct Systematic Reviews and she is also a trainer on Evidence Based Health Practice. Her current focus is to develop a team of committed professionals to develop evidence based clinical guidelines in India.
She has held several important posts in professional bodies. She is presently the National Coordinator of Clinical Research Methodology Committee of Federation of Obstetricians and Gynecologist of India and is the Chairperson of Multidisciplinary Patient Subcommittee of the Association of Obstetricians and Gynecologists of Delhi. She is closely associated with ICMR research proposals as investigator on projects related to Respectful Maternity Care and establishment of National Contraceptive Registry. She is also an expert reviewer of the Indian Journal of Medical Research.
Dr. Srinivas D

Dr. Shrinivas is trained in Medicine, Anthropology and Demography. He has been working in the field of HIV since past 17 years. His research includes quantitative and qualitative methods incorporating disciplinary perspectives from clinical epidemiology, Public Health, Anthropology and Demography. The main focus of his research has been on gender, sexuality, reproductive health and HIV/AIDS with topical focus on strengthening research utilization to inform practices and policies.
He has experiencing of working on systematic reviews spanning range of designs such as qualitative, quantitative and mixed methods review with multi-disciplinary team working in different socio-cultural contexts. He works as a senior researcher with a Pune based NGO, Prayas (Health Group) and also as Adjunct Professor, Public Health Evidence South Asia (PHESA) which includes South Asian Satellite of Cochrane Public Health Group at Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Manipal
Dr. Sandeep Moola
Visiting Faculty, Previously Research Fellow, JBI, Adelaide
Dr. Sandeep is an experienced researcher with significant international experience and skills in evidence synthesis, critical analysis and interpretation of evidence and data. He has significant experience in writing reports, briefs and other written communications for a range of audiences. He has been involved in undertaking systematic reviews and literature reviews; facilitating clinical audit implementation projects; developing research methodologies, coordinating various external research projects; teaching evidence-based practice courses; writing evidence-based research summaries; and liaising with external stakeholders such as clinicians, and other research experts. He has also contributed towards the development of a digital app and online resources for evidence-based resources.
Sandeep has significant experience and skills in evidence-based healthcare research, particularly around evidence synthesis and evidence translation aspects. He has contributed immensely towards systematic and narrative reviews of health service evidence/information, and evidence-based guideline development. His most recent work on practice guideline development included contribution towards a chapter on vascular access devices for burns patients in the guideline published by the International Society for Burn Injuries (ISBI). To his credit has several systematic review publications that included quantitative research paradigm and his PhD work involved a series of systematic reviews that included both quantitative and qualitative research methods. Sandeep has published peer-reviewed articles in various journals that not only included systematic review articles but also papers based on clinical audit implementation projects, research methodologies, scoping reviews, rapid reviews, and evidence synthesis products and tools. Sandeep has keen interest in evidence synthesis, translation and dissemination, with a particular focus on evidence dissemination in resource-limited settings.
Dr. Rajeev Aravindakshan

Dr. Rajeev Aravindakshan is a specialist in Community Medicine, with 25 years of teaching experience in Indian and foreign medical schools. He is currently Additional Professor in the department of Community and Family Medicine, at All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Mangalagiri, Andhra Pradesh. He has taken advanced training in medical education as a member in the medical education unit and served as Secretary of Institutional Research Committee of Pushpagiri Institute of Medical Sciences & Research Centre for several years. He demonstrates a keen interest in research, and has several publications to his credit. He has proficiency in statistical methods and research methodology. He has been trained for systematic reviews by Manipal Academy of Higher Education. His areas of interest are non-communicable diseases, infectious diseases and environmental health.
